Is Everlance Premium Worth It for Rideshare Drivers?
Everlance has a free Basic plan and two paid plans, Starter and Professional, which most drivers call Everlance Premium. Starter is worth it for a rideshare driver who logs more than 30 trips a month and wants every mile tracked automatically. Neither plan gives you your own riders. SOLODRIVE.PRO works alongside Everlance, with a booking page at your handle so Uber and Lyft passengers can become your own repeat riders.
First, there is no plan called Premium
Drivers search for "Everlance Premium." Everlance's own pricing page does not use that name.
It lists one free plan and two paid ones (read on everlance.com/pricing, October 16, 2026):
| Everlance plan | Listed price | What Everlance says it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $0 | 30 automatically detected trips a month, unlimited manual trips, mileage and expense reports, receipt upload, digital mileage log |
| Starter | $8.99 a month or $69.99 a year | Unlimited automatic mileage tracking, custom IRS-compliant reporting, more expense tracking |
| Professional | $99.99 a year | Automatic expense tracking, AI deduction finder (iOS), 1099 tax filing, audit defense, phone and chat support, priority response |
New users get a 7-day free trial of Starter. Everlance asks for a card to start it, and charges when the trial ends unless you cancel. When a driver says "Premium," they mean Starter or Professional.
Where the free plan runs out
Thirty automatic trips sounds like a lot. For a rideshare driver it is a few days.
Do ten trips on a Saturday and you have used a third of the month. After the cap, you log trips by hand or you miss them. A missed trip is a mile you cannot count.
That is the real case for paying. Starter takes the cap off, so every drive gets logged without you thinking about it.
Starter or Professional?
Most drivers who only drive need the mileage side. That is Starter.
Professional adds automatic expense tracking, tax filing and audit defense. Those matter if you want one app to carry more of your paperwork. Check Everlance's page for exactly what each one includes before you pick.
What Everlance does not do
Everlance looks back. It counts the miles you drove and the money you spent.
It does not change who is in your back seat next week. The rider you drove to the airport on Tuesday goes back into the Uber or Lyft app. The next airport run goes to whoever the app sends.
No tracker fixes that, because tracking is not the problem. The rider has no way to reach you.
The part a tracker cannot do
A rider needs one place to book you that does not depend on the app matching you again.
SOLODRIVE.PRO gives you a booking page at your own handle. A rider opens it, picks the trip and the time, and the request comes to you. No app for the rider to download.
- Share your link at the end of a good ride, or point to your booking QR.
- You set pricing. The rider sees it before they book.
- Payment is captured on the platform for your direct rides.
- Turn repeat riders into regulars. Mark a rider as a regular, they agree and save a card, and the ride is billed weekly through Stripe.
- Keep a customer list of the riders who book you.
You can also log your Uber and Lyft earnings by hand, so you can track earnings and stay tax-ready in the same place you run your direct rides. And you can log oil changes, tires, brakes and other upkeep costs as they happen.
What a mileage log cannot add up to
Everlance can tell you how many miles you drove last month. It cannot add a ride to next month.
Here is what regulars add to a week. These numbers are illustrative, on a fare you set:
| Your regulars | Rides a week | At $15 a ride |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10 | $150 a week |
| 3 | 30 | $450 a week |
| 5 | 50 | $750 a week |
Five regulars at that fare is about $3,000 a month of rides on your calendar before the month starts. Every one of them started as a rider the app sent you.
So, is Everlance Premium worth it?
For tracking your miles, yes, once you pass 30 trips a month. Starter at $69.99 a year is the plan most drivers mean, and it saves you logging trips by hand.
For growing what you earn, it was never built for that. Keep Everlance for the mileage log if it works for you. Add a booking page for the riders.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Everlance Premium worth it for rideshare drivers?
For most full-time drivers, the Starter plan is. The free Basic plan stops automatically detecting trips after 30 a month, and a rideshare driver can pass 30 trips in a few days. Starter removes that cap. What no Everlance plan does is bring a rider back to you. For that you need a booking page, not a tracker.
What is Everlance Premium?
Everlance does not use the name Premium on its pricing page. Its paid plans are Starter and Professional, and those are what most drivers mean when they say Everlance Premium. The free plan is called Basic.
How much does Everlance cost?
Everlance's own pricing page lists Basic at $0, Starter at $8.99 a month or $69.99 a year, and Professional at $99.99 a year. New users get a 7-day free trial of Starter, and Everlance asks for a card to start it. We read these figures on everlance.com/pricing on October 16, 2026. Check that page before you subscribe, because prices change.
What is the difference between Everlance free and paid?
The free Basic plan gives you 30 automatically detected trips a month, unlimited manual trips, receipt uploads and mileage and expense reports. Starter adds unlimited automatic mileage tracking and custom IRS-compliant reporting. Professional adds automatic expense tracking, an AI deduction finder on iOS, 1099 tax filing, audit defense, phone and chat support and priority response.
Does Everlance help me get more riders?
No. Everlance counts the miles you drove and the money you spent. It does not give a rider a way to book you again. That part takes a booking page a rider can open without the Uber or Lyft app.
Can I use Everlance and SOLODRIVE.PRO together?
Yes. They do different jobs. Everlance keeps your mileage log. SOLODRIVE.PRO gives you a booking page at your own handle so the riders you drive on Uber and Lyft can book you directly, and lets you log your other-platform earnings so you can track earnings and stay tax-ready.
