Legal Disclaimer
Clear boundaries, clearly stated.
SoloDrive provides software infrastructure. It does not provide transportation services and does not represent itself as the transportation provider.
This page provides general information about the role of SoloDrive and the responsibilities of independent operators who use the platform.
It is not legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from qualified legal counsel in your jurisdiction.
Platform role
SoloDrive operates as infrastructure, not as the driver or transportation company.
SoloDrive does
- Provide booking and trip-management software
- Support storefront, request, quote, and trip surfaces
- Facilitate software workflows related to transportation transactions
- Support payment-related workflow infrastructure where enabled
SoloDrive does not
- Provide transportation services directly
- Employ or supervise drivers as transportation staff
- Represent itself as the passenger’s transportation provider
- Assume responsibility for local operator compliance obligations
Operator responsibility
Each independent operator is responsible for their own business, service, and compliance posture.
That may include licensing, insurance, permits, tax obligations, safety procedures, disclosures, and any other local or industry-specific requirements that apply to their operations.
Use of the SoloDrive platform does not relieve operators of those responsibilities.
Passenger relationship
SoloDrive supports direct booking relationships between riders and independent operators.
The platform provides tools that help an operator receive ride requests, coordinate trip details, manage trip surfaces, and support repeat direct booking.
The transportation relationship remains between the rider and the independent operator providing the service.
Payments and platform fees
Payment flows may use third-party payment infrastructure.
Where payment functionality is enabled, payments and related platform fees may be handled through third-party payment processors.
SoloDrive may collect software, application, or platform-related fees according to the applicable product configuration, plan, or transaction workflow.
No guarantee of business outcome
SoloDrive provides tools. Operators remain responsible for how they use them.
SoloDrive does not guarantee revenue, rider volume, legal eligibility, insurance coverage, customer retention, or business success.
Operators should evaluate their own market, requirements, and business practices before accepting direct bookings.
Use good judgment
Know your local requirements before operating direct rides.
Transportation rules can vary by location and service type. Operators should understand the rules that apply to them before using any software system to support transportation services.
If you are unsure what applies to your business, consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
Infrastructure, not a transportation company.
SoloDrive exists to give independent operators cleaner tools for direct booking, trip coordination, and repeat business.
