Delete account
Delete your account and data.
You can request deletion of your SOLODRIVE.PRO account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to request it and exactly what happens: what is deleted, what is canceled, and the limited records we are required to keep.
SOLODRIVE.PRO provides booking, payment, and record infrastructure for independent ride operators. Deletion applies to the account you own on this platform.
How to request deletion
To delete your account and data, contact SoloDrive support and ask for account and data deletion:
- Email [email protected].
- Or call (888) 609-1221, our toll-free support line.
Send your request from the email address registered to your account and include your booking page handle, so we can verify your identity and locate the correct account. We verify your identity against the account before we process the request.
We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your login and account access.
- Your personal, profile, vehicle, and brand data.
- Your storefront, which is taken offline.
- Your custom domain and your booking page handle.
- Your profile photos.
What is canceled
As part of closing your account, we cancel:
- Your SOLODRIVE.PRO subscription.
- Any rider commute subscriptions on your account.
You are not billed again after your account is deleted.
What we keep, and why
A few records are retained after deletion. Some we are required to keep by law. One we keep for your benefit, because destroying it would hurt you. Here is each one.
An anonymized financial record of completed rides
We keep an anonymized financial record of completed rides as required by law, generally 7 years for financial and tax records. This record is stripped of the personal details that identify you as an individual; it exists so we can meet our own financial and tax obligations.
Your own mileage, income, and expense entries, kept for you
We keep the mileage, income, and expense entries you logged, because they are your Schedule C tax substantiation. Deleting them when you close your account would destroy your own records and could harm you at tax time. We keep them for you, not for us. If you later want them removed as well, say so in your deletion request to [email protected] and we will address it.
Rider records
We keep records of rides that riders paid for or were refunded. These are third-party transaction records that we are required to retain for our own tax and accounting.
